• VIN data: vehicle identification numbers you scan or enter manually.
• Usage data: features accessed, scan history, and app activity.
• Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.
• Location data: approximate location if you grant permission, used to show nearby listings.

• Process your subscription and manage billing through Stripe.

• Firebase / Google: for authentication, database storage, and cloud functions.
• NHTSA: VIN numbers are sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration public API to retrieve vehicle data.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase Security Rules for database access control, and Stripe for PCI-compliant payment handling. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
